It sure is a breathe easy film apparently needs no distinctive plot, no need for meticulous execution, no special effects, no post production whatsoever. Minimal investment with great return in the form of warmth, laughter and love😇 simple story given a deserving simple directorial treatment.
God bless the director for none of the non-logic sequence these kind of movies usually have. And coming to Vijay Devaragonda, my my, apart from his cuteness, overwhelming puppy innocence in his eyes, what a contrast role to that of Arjun Reddy, where he was a terror hunk (appreciate the director for giving a teeny weeny sampler before the interval block).
No blood, no violence, no punchy dialogues, no foreign location, no stunt sequence- yet an all engaging subtle humorous watch (not black or red comedy, just the age old plain humor apt for all ages) with a gorgeously handsome hero and a girl next door heroine. Simple twists and humble suspenses.
One is inevitably reminded of SJ suriya’s Kushi movie when there is a cat and mouse egoistic scenes. (there it was a red matiz here it is a red desire)
The mild drag in second half could be forgiven with the leading lady’s finally dialogue why she couldn’t resist falling for him (didn’t we all fall for him wanting a groom just like him for our daughter, not just the looks but also the adorable character)
