2017, Marathi, Netflix, 7.1/10 IMDB, Directed by Sameer Vidwans
A relationship drama, of a young couple who rush in to marriage without their families consent. They both end up growing apart as they are engulfed in their jobs, that leaves no quality family time.
The moment they decide to separate, some unexpected events happen and they are sweeped by a sea of emotions.
Whether they get back together or not, is the rest of the movie. The female lead played by Spruha Joshi does a beautiful job so does Gashmere Mahajani, who play this naive boy friend who let’s his girl friend to manipulate him in to marriage.
Even after marriage their arguments are always one sided as Gashmere never speaks his mind in the fear that he might get in to trouble. You kinda start pitying the poor men folk who had to put up with the wife’s emotional outburst and their urge to sort things out in their favor.
Lots of unexpected twist and the story finally gives them some space to figure it out themselves.
Loved the movie even though it deviates here and there in to women empowerment and stuff, but it returns back on track and ends well.
Good watch.
